Solid tool, minor hiccup

I recently purchased the Ayoa Ultimate plan for my team. The project planning software and Kanban Boards are quite robust and helped us streamline a lot of our workflow. Delivery of the account access was instant, which was great. The only small issue I had was finding the specific setting to export to PDF; it took a few minutes longer than I expected to locate it. Otherwise, it's a very capable platform with good value for the features provided.

Love the AI features!

Ayoa is fantastic! I tried the AI Mind Maps and they blew me away. So helpful for getting started quickly. The Team Collaboration Tools are excellent for my group projects. I will absolutely shop here again for future needs. Definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a solid brainstorming tool!

Pretty good for brainstorming

I tried out Ayoa for some brainstorming sessions, mostly using the Mind Map Templates. It was pretty easy to get the hang of. I liked how you could switch between different map types, the Organic Mind Maps were cool. The overall experience was smooth, no major glitches or anything. It did what I needed it to do for getting my ideas down. I'd probably use it again for quick projects.

Reliable for ongoing projects

I've been an Ayoa customer for a while, mostly using the Premium plan for various projects. This last renewal for the Visual Task Management was as smooth as previous ones. I appreciate the consistency; the features I rely on, like the Gantt Charts, always perform well. It's why I keep coming back. No surprises, which is exactly what I want in a tool I use daily.

Good value with student discount

I just got the Ayoa Premium subscription, my first time buying it. I used the student discount, which saved me a decent amount. It felt worth the purchase for the features I got. The Collaborative Whiteboards and Visual Task Management are going to be really useful for my university work. I was looking for something affordable but powerful, and this fit the bill nicely. Felt like a good deal overall.

What's the deal with the free version? Is it actually useful or just a super limited demo?

S Sarah A. 2 months ago
It's decent for basic stuff, you can try out some features. But it's definitely limited, won't get you all the good collaboration or advanced mind map types. More like a long trial I guess.

The free version is okay to get a feel for it. I used it for a bit before upgrading. You can make some maps but anything serious, especially with a team, you'll hit a wall quick.

can you use this thing offline? My internet is super spotty sometimes.

J James P. 2 months ago
Afraid not, it's an online tool. Needs internet access to work.

No, it's all cloud-based. You gotta be online for it. I've had issues before when my wifi drops out, everything just stops.

Is Ayoa good for someone with ADHD? I need something really visual but not overwhelming for planning.

N Neil R. 2 months ago
I've heard good things about it for ADHD, especially the visual task management and mind mapping. It's designed to be pretty intuitive.

My cousin uses it for his ADHD and loves it. Says the organic mind maps really help him structure his thoughts without feeling too rigid. And the visual task stuff keeps him on track.

How does Ayoa compare to Miro? I use Miro a lot but looking for something maybe more tailored to mind maps.

M Mia Doyle 2 months ago
Ayoa is definitely more focused on mind mapping and visual task management than Miro. Miro is broader, more of a general whiteboard. If mind mapping is your main thing, Ayoa might be better.

I switched from Miro to Ayoa for my project planning. Ayoa's mind maps are way more robust and the AI features are actually pretty useful. Miro is great for general whiteboarding but the mind mapping always felt a bit clunky there.

Thinking of getting the Ultimate plan, is it worth the extra cost over Premium? What's the main difference?

M Mia L. 2 months ago
Ultimate usually includes more advanced features like Gantt charts and maybe more AI stuff, I think. Premium is good for most people though.

N Neil Marsh 2 months ago
I went with Ultimate because I needed the full project management tools, especially the Gantt charts. If you're just doing mind mapping and basic tasks, Premium is probably fine. Ultimate really unlocks the deeper project planning features.
